Integral (Pūrṇa) Yoga — Sri Aurobindo

Sri Aurobindo (1872–1950) and his collaborator known as The Mother developed Integral (Pūrṇa) Yoga in Pondicherry: a yoga aiming not at withdrawal but at the transformation of the whole being and life by a descending higher consciousness. It is distinct from Swami Satchidananda's Integral Yoga.

Historical development
